The Agenda

-The explosive growth of high-growth markets
It is in high-growth markets that cities are changing most rapidly, and the transformation of the urban environments of Asia, Africa and Latin America will have a profound impact on the whole world. How are those cities projected to evolve, and what will the consequences be for the rest of us?

-Liveable cities

The world’s cities are in direct competition with each other to secure the inward investment needed to sustain growth. What makes a city attractive for its citizens?

-The Future of Urban Transport

Tomorrow’s cities will have to provide their citizens with efficient, accessible and sustainable transport networks.

Rapid urbanisation along with impressive economic growth rates for much of the Continent represents an interesting moment to take stock of how academic discourses capture and animate African urbanism.

Since inception 21 years ago, Archibuilt has continued to provide a platform for key players in the building industry (from concept/design to construction, to finishing) to showcase innovations in their products and services that promote quality, safety, style and elegance in the built environment. It is thus very important that your esteemed organisation should stand up to be counted among Nigeria’s best in your chosen area of operation.

Participants and visitors to the event include the leading architects, builders, policy makers, town planners, and companies whose products/services impact the built environment directly or indirectly in Nigeria and West Africa. This year’s event will feature special participants and delegations form some key European and Asian countries. The City Renewal Programmes of many state governments is a major attraction and promises a pending boom in the Building Construction and Housing industry in Nigeria. Little wonder, this year, we are focusing on the very critical aspect of policy engineering in our workshop series.
